THE BREAKTHROUGH INSPECTION TO DETECT FOREIGN BODIES: DISCOVER THE MICROWAVE TECHNOLOGY

Microwave technology can detect physical contaminants that are currently unidentifiable with X-rays and metal detectors. An innovative operating principle based on dielectric contrast allows the identification of plastics, rubber, glass, insects and wood, as well as metals, thus making it possible to identify all those foreign bodies that threaten consumer’s safety in the food and beverage industry.

The system integrates two inspection modules: IT700-IoT is a cap inspection system designed to ensure the quality and conformity of caps, detecting every defect on any kind of closures. CL700-IoT is a fill level inspection system, designed to check the right filling level and eliminate containers that do not comply with regulations.

Serialization is the process of creating a unique code for every item produced, a single package ID that can be added up to four level (lot/batch, pallet, case, item) to your supply chain visibility in a single step. With the serialization process, each production batch is transformed from an undifferentiated pack to individual, traceable unit that have quality metrics and event attributes associated with their data.

Using data from a digitized supply chain to communicate information on raw material, quality and production to consumers links them directly closer to the brand, with important loyalty benefits. The solution from Antares Vision Group allows for differentiation and personalization of user engagement and experience based on parameters that can be set through the platform for each product.

A rules engine allows for personalized messages to reach the consumer for each individual product, based on specific situations and activating, for example, loyalty programs, points collection or exclusive content. RETURNABLE ASSETS MANAGEMENT AND PACKING RECYCLING

A solution for Returnable Asset Management, which enables tracking of returnable packaging throughout the supply chain. The container is assigned a unique digital identity. This makes it possible not only to know where the container is, but to avoid production stops due to lack of containers to fill; track the product; ensure its quality by linking every variable data; and predict the maintenance needs of the returnable container. The solution can also be applied to packaging recycling so as to ensure proper recycling of the container according to the raw material it is made of, in line with PPWD (Directive 94/62/EC -The Packaging and Packaging Waste Directive).
